Terms of Service
Effective Date: November 25, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover your use of Shodata ("Service"), provided by AEC API. By accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Usage & Security
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are inactive for an extended period or that violate these Terms.
2. User Content & License
You retain full ownership of the data you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and serve this content via our API solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your authorized users.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload your User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or laws.
3. Acceptable Use
- You strictly agree not to upload malicious code, illegal content, or data regulated by HIPAA/PCI without authorization.
- You must not attempt to bypass API rate limits or reverse engineer the Service.
- We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access for any violation of these standards.
4. Billing
We use a Merchant of Record (Dodo Payments) to handle secure payment processing. Subscription fees are billed in advance, while usage-based overage fees are calculated and charged at the end of the billing cycle. Failure to pay may result in account downgrade or suspension.
5. Disclaimers & Liability
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any User Content hosted on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shodata shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
6. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. We may modify these Terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes agreement to the changes.
